A very warm welcome to our family-run, independent cafe. We have now been open for just over two  years and what a journey it has been! Recent highlights have been  being shortlisted in the top 4 cafes in Beds and Herts, for the second year running,  hosting three wedding parties, a wake, several children’s pizza-making parties, a ladies evening with BYO Prosecco and pizza, catering a hen party and some wonderful charity fund raisers that raised funds for 5 local charities. We have worked harder than we ever imagined, and now have a lovely team in place. Our customers and the community around us that we are so much part of have pulled together amazingly to support us and we are proud of over 200 Five star reviews. Speaking of five stars we also excelled in our most recent Food Hygiene rating.

The Hub & Spoke is designed to be at the heart of all of the communities we serve – we have a big heart and have created a safe and cozy place to meet, eat, drink and share … to come as a customer and guest and leave feeling good. Cyclists, walkers, dog owners, (and their well-behaved dogs), work from homers, would-be electric bike owners, and people who care about local community are particularly welcome; all are a passion for us. Our food and drinks are made with great care and attention, using the highest quality ingredients, sourced only from people we like; people who share our values and integrity, and who enjoy delicious food as much as we do. We like to welcome everyone and make sure that this deliciousness is carried into an extensive range of Gluten Free, Vegan and Dairy free options in our pizzas, cakes, savouries, soups, and snacks.

A lively atmosphere, inviting environment, and good conversation are as important as the food and drinks in our bright, cosy place. The wifi here is strong, and we’ve dotted phone chargers around the place … powering your tech whilst our coffee powers you!
